Hello all
We had a strom 2 weeks ago and my mast (so the antennas) broken down (2x 10
el lfa 2+)
Now I decided to go on with a smaller antenna (LFA 7 el.) with 4 stack
configuration
I want to build my H frame so, any tricks or mounting advices about H frame
will be very helpful.
I am planning to use 2 vertical connections on H frame to prevent any twist
and make it more rigid and want to use one of that vertical masts for
elevation joint
I have a 40cm actuator that I use previously and want to use it on this
frame as well.
How should I connect the actuator to have the maximum elevation?
Thanks a lot.
I have 2 Spid az/el controllers, model ROT 2 Prog that were "well used" by
their previous owner. Basically the membrane over the push buttons on the
front of both units were pushed through, but the switches still function. I
have no need for them in my station. They come with the special mouse used
to control them if needed. I will ship them both to a stateside only
address for 50 dollars.

Folks,
After taking it out of storage after 9 months, I have refitted my 10GHz transverter box and feed back on the 2.3m dish. I have had to sort out a few issues, but it seems to be working quite well on receive. I still need to do a few things to the transmit side.
I measured 12.6dB sun noise this afternoon and ~1dB moon noise. The beacon is a consistent -4dBJT. This seems to be several dB stronger than I recall when previously monitoring the beacon. Is anyone else getting stronger beacon reception since the recent changes, and if so, by how much?

Oh, I remember working Lee, Crossband 10/6m back in Sunspot Cycle 21. I
have a recording of her and that unmistakable "drawl" somewhere!
Must dig it out.
Rest in Peace, Lee.
