I have been playing with a new Triquint ULNA device (TQP3M9036). It
Shows a lot of promise. It is like a MAR or MSA device in that it is
50ohm in and out. and has a claimed NF about .4db nf ( their numbers).
I have built several pramps to test them and have gotten even better
than they claim and they cover 50-1296 with ease and NF is .4ish or
below. The S11 and S22 are both great and the OIP3 is +35db also
...very nice device. It has great promise as a good terrestrial LNA.
Preamps are foolproof to build and would cost under $50 if all the best
quality parts are used.
Just for information only ...

When I am doing a Q65-60B TX and select Halt TX in the middle of the minute
what is the sequence of events? Does the RF drive (tones) quit and then PTT
is disconnected? Timing?
The reason that I'm asking is that I have found damage on my amplifiers
TX/RX coax switch contacts.

Hello!
I am looking for a stable 5 watt 6m transmitter to use on Q65-60A mode. It must be
very lightweight and compact, since I want to be able to use it on DXpeditions. I
already have a receiver (Airspy R2), so I just need a transmitter - if thatis even
something that is available without a receiver. Otherwise, I suppose I am open to a
small transceiver, although I won't be using the receiver part of it.
Does anybody have any suggestions on something that might work in my situation? I
have an early model KX3 that I just love, but I fear it might not be stableenough for
weak signal EME work with Q65 mode on 6m (although it seems to work fine on FT8 and
MSK144 on 6m)
Many thanks for any suggestions!
VY 73, Lance

Hi Rui,What Dick and Rainer says is correct, run this very nice HF-400 relay at 13.5Vdc.The inside of this relay is easily accessible. You can easily clean the contacts with alcohol. 73s de Jac, PA3DZL

The least mechanical resistance or too low supply makes the movement not switching….I suggest to check all the mechanics for proper movement. And make sure the12V is rally 12V…I have this relay in use on 144 and from RF QRO perspective I think there is no better.Cheers, Dick PA2DW Van: Moon-net <moon-net-bounces(a)mailman.pe1itr.com> namens Rui Ferreira via Moon-net <moon-net(a)mailman.pe1itr.com>Verzonden: donderdag, januari 27, 2022 7:03 PMAan: Moon-NetOnderwerp: [Moon-Net] HF-400 relay Hello everyone ! Hi friends,
I am looking for a 4 port WR75 switch for a test system for 10GHz.
If someone has a surplus that they want to sell, they can write me
privately.
Thanks a lot!
