I have been playing with a new Triquint ULNA device (TQP3M9036). It
Shows a lot of promise. It is like a MAR or MSA device in that it is
50ohm in and out. and has a claimed NF about .4db nf ( their numbers).
I have built several pramps to test them and have gotten even better
than they claim and they cover 50-1296 with ease and NF is .4ish or
below. The S11 and S22 are both great and the OIP3 is +35db also
...very nice device. It has great promise as a good terrestrial LNA.
Preamps are foolproof to build and would cost under $50 if all the best
quality parts are used.

I’m ready on 6cm with the same dish I’m using on 3cm.
Despite the strong local 5 GHz WiFi noise, had a nice 579/569 first QSO with this setup today with HB9Q, thank you Dan !
Setup is a 3.7m dish and 60W at CP feeder.
I can be QRV on 6cm or 3cm most of the days, skeds and tests are very welcome, as usual.

For 10Ghz only one preamp is available and we will close further production after delivering more then 100 pcs.
We expect a crowed band in the coming time,hi.
We are currently preparingthe first batch of a super LNA for 24Ghz with NF: 1.1dB
Furthemore we would like feedback for the design and production of an 24Ghz SSPA.
Design goal is: 10Watt rf out, Vdc: 15Vd and WG connections.We will design against a reasonable price but need your feedback.

Hello to all interested in the 222 band.....I still need several states
for 222 WAS. I have grouped them into two "groups"....east and west
from me.
The east group consists of KY, WI, MD, DE, ME, RI, VT, and CT. Of this
group, KY and WI could easily be worked via meteor scatter, IF I can
find someone to run with in those states. So if you know someone that
might help, please try to get us together. MD and DE are also workable
from here on meteors, but those states are in the "long haul" category.
In other words, they are both at almost maximum distances. The rest are
probably reachable via EME.
The western group consists of NV, MT, OR, WA, and WY. Of course, there
is always HI, but everyone is just waiting for Bill-ND0B to move there
with his Lunar-Links and FB antennas. None of he above states are
reachable via meteor scatter, so EME will have to be used.
On meteor scatter, I am running 2 x 23el at 135ft and about 1300W. On
222 EME, I am running 8 x 222XP40s with full steering and a tower
mounted cavity preamp. In the last week, I have worked two new
states....UT thanks Mike-K7ULS and MN thanks Mike-W0VTT and AC0RA-Wyatt.
If anyone can help me with my 222 WAS, please contact me. You don't
have to have elevation to work me, just a good tropo station with some
power. We can run on your rising moon(stations to the west of me) or
your setting moon(stations to the east of me).
David-N9HF is also trying hard to finish out his 222 WAS, so if you are
active on 222 you might contact him to see if he needs your state.

In a JT65 QSO, the grid square is typically the "other piece of
information" making a complete QSO. I would consider the SNR report (e.g.
R-18) to be the "report." But the SNR report is optional and isn't always
sent.
When submitting my Cabrillo log for the ARRL EME weekends to the ARRL, it
wouldn't take the grid square as the "report". I think Cabrillo considers
a grid square to be an "exchange" but the ARRL EME rules don't require an
"exchange" it requires a "report." And, as a result, it seems the Web App
won't even take a report plus an exchange, just a "report."
So, for my JT65 QSOs I put 'OOO' for the reports, because that's what is
sent, encoded. The Web App took this, so my log is submitted. But, the
web app might take other things for the "report" like 'RO' Now, if what I
put for the report and what the other station puts for the report are
different, the log checker will bust the QSO. Since I don't want to bust
49 JT65 QSOs just because I don't know what the official DG "report" is
supposed to be for JT65, I thought I'd check here on what the standard JT65
report is. If someone who knows officially or has submitted a log
generated by a real logging program (I wrote my own which is why I don't
know) could confirm for me that 'OOO' is the correct report for JT65 or
tell me what it is if it's not 'OOO' I would appreciate it.

P.S. I understand that if I declare the report to be 'OOO' when it was
really 'MMM' that really is a bust, but JT65 doesn't do 'MMM', it either
makes it, in which case the report is 'OOO' or it doesn't in which case
it's a failed QSO. So I'm thinking all the successful JT65 QSOs are
'OOO'. All my CW QSOs this year had RST reports, so I put the RST Sent and
Received as the "report" for them. If someone had sent 'OOO' on CW I would
have put that.
