I have been playing with a new Triquint ULNA device (TQP3M9036). It
Shows a lot of promise. It is like a MAR or MSA device in that it is
50ohm in and out. and has a claimed NF about .4db nf ( their numbers).
I have built several pramps to test them and have gotten even better
than they claim and they cover 50-1296 with ease and NF is .4ish or
below. The S11 and S22 are both great and the OIP3 is +35db also
...very nice device. It has great promise as a good terrestrial LNA.
Preamps are foolproof to build and would cost under $50 if all the best
quality parts are used.
Just for information only ...

Hi all,
I’m ready on 6cm with the same dish I’m using on 3cm.
Despite the strong local 5 GHz WiFi noise, had a nice 579/569 first QSO with this setup today with HB9Q, thank you Dan !
Setup is a 3.7m dish and 60W at CP feeder.
I can be QRV on 6cm or 3cm most of the days, skeds and tests are very welcome, as usual.

I am almost done with firmware for MABMPU simple controller. This is a potential replacement for DRO levels that can be expanded in the future to work with various popular EME trackers like RazTrak, DrzTrack, OE5JFL, F1EHN.
In order to use this setup, one MABMPU encoder board takes on role of the controller and reads the US Digital SEI bus encoders and displays the results on the LCD. This simple controller works with US Digital A2 and A2T encoders or MABMPU encoder board (using MAB25, MAB28, ETS25 or MPU9150 inclinometer).
Power (+12VDC) is provided to the encoders over the 6-wire CAT-3 cable from the MABMPU simple controller. In theory, the US Digital SEI bus can drive cables over 100m.
For those that already have a EME tracker which utilizes US Digital encoders, I have a version of the MABMPU LCD firmware that monitors the SEI encoder bus for encoder read position commands and simply displays the positions on the LCD display. In this configuration, the power to the MABMPU monitor is obtained from the SEI 6-wire bus.

Hi all,
check out http://www.darkside.cz/eme.php
By the way I'll not take a part this time because of

For all who want to make a reservation for EME 2018.
That’s still possible until the end of June.
On the website (www.eme2018.nl) it’s only possible to make reservations for some standard arrangements.
That was done to make it easy on the most of you and to avoid a lot of choices.
Booking on the website is a two step process:
1. Hotel room and basic entrance fee
2. Meetings and excursions
If you want to book something not standard it’s very well possible!
You yan come earlier, you can stay longer, it’s all possible whatever you like.
To arrange that you need to contact the hotel: t.schripsema(a)zuiderduin.nl
Simply send them an e-mail and tell them what you would like and it can all be arranged.
Looking forward welcoming many of you in August in Egmond aan Zee and of course in Dwingeloo at PI9CAM !

Dear friends
Hermann, DL2NUD, asked me to inform the U/SHF community as follows:
Uwe and Hermann plan to arrive (with their mobile-home) early evening of
21.4.2018 in Z6 Kosovo. They have to drive down almost to the SV border for
safety reasons. As soon as they arrive they will start to set-up the
stations. They hope to be QRV early afternoon (probably not for MR!) of
22.4.
Hermann will be QRV as follows:
22.4. and 23.4. 1296.100 1st JT65c listening on own echo
24.4. 2320.100 1st JT65c listening on own echo
(2304.100 on request)
25.4. 3400.100 1st JT65c listening on own echo
26.4. 5760.100 1st JT65c (I recommended JT4F) listening
on own echo
27.4. 10368.100 1st JT4F listening on own echo
No CW, sorry!
On 28.4. they have to pack-up and depart for the 2000+km drive back home.
He hopes to have internet access. If he does he will be stand-by on the HB9Q
loggers for last minute information. Exact grid will be announced once they
arrive at the QTH.
Hermann is looking forward to work you and sends his best regards!
Good luck to all!

Hi Serge...
I am having trouble finding "funSDRplus.rar" or as you posted "funSDR+.rar" software... any searches lead to dead or wrong links... Do you know where I can get a copy?
Thanks and 73,
