Hello moonbouncers,
There was very nice CW activity during ARRL contest this year (on all bands except 2m from US) and it is unfortunate I did not have a lot of free time for it.
I also “worked” JT65 logger eme (I thought: who is going to find out anyway??) and apart from constant chatter I also found JAMMING.... a lot of Jamming, even from its own creator!!?
Check a small part of it from N0UK logger:
11/19 17:04 VE3KH you being jammed by K1JT and W6YX (W7IUV Larry WA DN07dg 216.215.40.193)
11/19 17:05 Why Larry .... they on 142 also? (VE3KH Kevin ON FN03aj 24.141.203.45)
11/19 17:06 They are calling me to get a contest poitn and it ain't gonna happen!! (W7IUV Larry WA DN07dg 216.215.40.193)
11/19 17:08 Thansk Larry 73 ... Yes, I have been jumped by a quite a few stations (VE3KH Kevin ON FN03aj 24.141.203.45)
11/20 17:47 Also hr k1jt calling me -22 but not ans him (KN4SM/5WL/KW Jerry VA FM16qt 24.241.251.86)
11/20 18:02 Contest = reduced courtesy! (K5DOG/2M Stevedog NM DM52xw 65.127.140.122)
11/20 18:04 Yes, K1JT and W3SZ can hear on gold tooth. (K5DOG/2M Stevedog NM DM52xw 65.127.140.122)
One thing I wouldn’t regret missing on EME is JAMMING!!!

I have this QRO-amplifier for sale but because of the weight and size, only local pickup is possible.
Think ít´s only interesting for amateurs located in Sweden.
It is advertised on:

Dear friends,
Please be reminded that it is bad form to
a) Make personal attacks;
b) Cross-post arguments from another reflector.
If you have a grievance with someone, pursue it elsewhere. Subscribers
to Moon-Net do not care to read it.

Hi Folks,
I bought this powersupply SNT Emerson BML 231 204/5
It is standard set to 54Vdc output and contains a fiber optical interface.
No further adjustments at all.
Is there any-1 who has experience with this kind of powersupplies and configured it down to 48Vdc?
Met vriendelijke groet,
Jan Pa0PLY
So far running MAP65 has been kind of hard to evaluate.
I can see it is easy to set IQ calibration with a test signal
(carrier) but the delta-phi leaves a question.
Finding a 45 or 135 degree polarized JT65 signal may take me days or
weeks to accomplish since at the moment there is no eme activity when
I can operate (work sched + moon sked = almost a null set diagram).
So my questions whether the delta-phi calibration can work with a
pure carrier test signal? I have two approaches for this: 1) place
a test signal on my circular-polarized 144-MHz Lindenblad antenna at
40-feet and about 130-feet away from the eme array, or 2) lower the
array and apply the test signal thru a Tee into both preamps.
BTW I am seeing significant birdies on the 90-KHz wide graph and they
seem to be mirrored at both ends of the 90-KHz spectrum:
eme array on horizon az=55 (144.125)

eme array on horizon az=130 note change in waterfall with change in azimuth

eme array az=130, ele=20 note red band is from actuator motor noise
when elevating

dual-pol Rx with test signal off (no preamps) auto-zero reset due to
change in system gain

Hello All
Sorry but I had a problem with my HF amp and was only able to run 100 w today.
Here is the information from today;
K2DH Dave reporting in but no news.
VE2XX Stu helped call for European check ins. None.
NE8I Lloyd digging a hole in preparation for a dish.
WB2BYP John worked AL7RT, W6YK and IK5MTZ on 1296 yesterday.
K6QPV Greg is ready for the contest on 10 Ghz with a 10 foot dish and 40 watts. He is seeing sun and moon noise. This information from KD0IF Lee in SanDiego.
VE5KKZ Kees heard VE6TA and I1NDP last night.
VE3KRP sends this;
Hi Steve...
I was active off the moon this weekend on 23 cm and worked 5 stations
, of which one was initial #75.

N4PZ I worked the following last night on 1296. I1NDP, I5MPK,IK1MTZ, IK5VLS, IK5QLO, VE3KRP and W6YK.
I will be on 1296 tonight with EA5UM at 0200 UTC 1296.020. Also after that I will try 432.020 at 0300 UTC calling CQ.
Happy DXing

If some of you have not worked FM8DY Jean. Here is a few tips that may or may not help you. First Jean does not come ON the REFLECTOR & annonces to the world he is going to call CQ like most of us do. HE JUST CALLS CQ. I see him in the evening around 02:00z on .131 always on this frequency. He decodes well & has a reasonable signal .ON my 4X17 i see him between -23db & - 26 db. He has a slight drift which sometimes will prevent decoding his signal on WSJT but no problems with MAP65. I run both systems on two different computers. Last nite i saw him on WSJT quiet often as well as MAP65.Jean will come on the reflector if you ask him a question but most of the time he will try to work stations calling CQ. Hope that may help some of you.Serge/VE1KG
