Hello moonbouncers,
There was very nice CW activity during ARRL contest this year (on all bands except 2m from US) and it is unfortunate I did not have a lot of free time for it.
I also “worked” JT65 logger eme (I thought: who is going to find out anyway??) and apart from constant chatter I also found JAMMING.... a lot of Jamming, even from its own creator!!?
Check a small part of it from N0UK logger:
11/19 17:04 VE3KH you being jammed by K1JT and W6YX (W7IUV Larry WA DN07dg 216.215.40.193)
11/19 17:05 Why Larry .... they on 142 also? (VE3KH Kevin ON FN03aj 24.141.203.45)
11/19 17:06 They are calling me to get a contest poitn and it ain't gonna happen!! (W7IUV Larry WA DN07dg 216.215.40.193)
11/19 17:08 Thansk Larry 73 ... Yes, I have been jumped by a quite a few stations (VE3KH Kevin ON FN03aj 24.141.203.45)
11/20 17:47 Also hr k1jt calling me -22 but not ans him (KN4SM/5WL/KW Jerry VA FM16qt 24.241.251.86)
11/20 18:02 Contest = reduced courtesy! (K5DOG/2M Stevedog NM DM52xw 65.127.140.122)
11/20 18:04 Yes, K1JT and W3SZ can hear on gold tooth. (K5DOG/2M Stevedog NM DM52xw 65.127.140.122)
One thing I wouldn’t regret missing on EME is JAMMING!!!

I have this QRO-amplifier for sale but because of the weight and size, only local pickup is possible.
Think ít´s only interesting for amateurs located in Sweden.
It is advertised on:

Hi Folks,
I bought this powersupply SNT Emerson BML 231 204/5
It is standard set to 54Vdc output and contains a fiber optical interface.
No further adjustments at all.
Is there any-1 who has experience with this kind of powersupplies and configured it down to 48Vdc?
Met vriendelijke groet,

An initial draft of the MAP65 User's Guide and a new program revision,
MAP65 v2.3.0 r2471, have been posted on the WSJT web site.
Direct links to the User's Guide and Windows installation package are as
follows:
http://physics.princeton.edu/pulsar/K1JT/MAP65_Users_Guide.pdfhttp://physics.princeton.edu/pulsar/K1JT/MAP65_230r2471.exe
MAP65 r2471 accesses an online version of the new User's Guide from the
Help menu, or when you hit the "F1" key. It also corrects a problem in
revision 2468 that prevented it from reading previously recorded *.tf2
and *.iq files.
Bug reports and suggestions for improving the User's Guide will be very
welcome!

Dear EME-ers ..
Had to temporary fix my elevation read-out with a " standard" potmeter
My original 12 bit encoder did not survive the rain we have had here in PA-land ..
Now using a standard a potmeter in a more or less waterproof housing ..but it is only a matter of time ..
I am using 4 x 10 ele for 144 Mc .. accuracy of about 1-2 degrees is more than enough .
Issue :
Water can enter the waterproof box via the axe of the potmeter
Been googling ( is that a real word ??) for a better solution ..
Found that there are oil filled potmeters that can handle pressures up to 10 bar or more ..
The price tag is way outside my budget .. ( around 50 euro )
Looking for a ham -friendly potmeter ( 10Kohm lin) than can be used in a wet environment for a " normal" price
or a water proof " interface " that I can mount between the potmeter and the outside world

EME net meets on saturday and sunday at 1500 UTC on 14.345 mhz.
PLEASE CHECK IN OR SEND EMAIL WITH COMMENTS.
Hello All
I am back from the EME conference in Cambridge, England.
I have attended dozens of conferences over the last 50 years and I have to say this one was better than all the others combined.
I have NEVER seen one so well organised. Everyone was made to feel that he or she was VERY special.
Please send thanks to the guys and their wives for doing an UNFORGETABLE job!!
Thank You All!!!!!!!
Now for the notes for saturday and sunday.
VE3KRP Eddie had a good time working the recent microwave weekend around lake superior. I haven’t heard him on 23 cm for a while.
SM4IVE Lars called in on CW according to WB2BYP. I missed him.
DJ8FR Juergen checked in saturday to report he is building a new 5 meter dish to replace his stressed dish. He didn’t check in sunday.
VE4MA Barry is getting ready for his winter stay in Arizona and is building SS amps to use on EME from VE4MA/W7.
VE5KKZ Kees is also working on his dish in preparation for winter.
WB2BYP John just returned from England yesterday so he is suffering from jet lag today.
WA0ARM Is rebuilding the support structure for his 432 antenna system.
WD1Y Joe is a newbie who expressed an interest in EME. If someone would lookup his email address and direct him to some links regarding how to get on EME I would appreciate the help.
N4PZ I have recovered from the jet lag and am getting all the antennas working before winter sets in.
I looked for Mike JH1KRC on CW and SSB but heard nothing.

Ermanno & allFinally got the TRACKBOX working after talking to the GURU of NA Gary KB8RQ. What i did was to go through all the different baud speeds mine is set up to 9600 the address is 60 & i selected ICOM275 for the radio eventhough i have a ICOM 910H. You must change on the radio as well the baud speed to 9600 using the program menu for the 910H. All this information's have to be entered in the OPTION BOX WINDOW on the TRAKBOX. Your BAUD SPEED MAY BE DIFFERENT depending on the radio you are usingNow eventhough your radio may not be listed on trackbox if you use an ICOM radio chances are it will work or any other radio for that matter.I want to thank Ermanno IK7EZN for developing this VERY USEFUL program which works great with MAP 65. THANK YOU ERMANNO.73, Serge/VE1KG
