I have this QRO-amplifier for sale but because of the weight and size, only local pickup is possible.

Is there anyone that use the antenna analyser MFJ 259B?.
How usefull is this antenna analyser for testing 2 meter antennas and
for testing the power lines etc.
Is this a gd choise?>

Hi EME'ers,
I was not QRV full time in the first part of the 144MHz CW EME ATP, because we had a
terrible thunderstorm during the night with heavy rain, and all the "blue lights" stopped
20 minuts into the ATP. After 1 hour activity my PA failed just when I start calling
OK1MS (sorry Stan) and no more EME in the first part. In the short time I was QRV
I was very glad to work: YO2AMU, F9HS, VK5APN, SM2CEW and DK3NG.
During the morning I was working on the PA, and after little soldering and changing a relay
all was working again and ready for the second part, where I was very glad to work:
SM7WSJ, LZ1DP, I3EVK, N4GJV, SP7DCS, OZ4MM and K6PF.
In the first part I was very surprices to hear VK5APN calling me (so early in the morning (-:
with a FB signal. I was a little confused, and was transmitting VK4APN for some periods
until Wayne was repeating VK5 enough times (thanks Wayne).
It was very nice to hear so good activity and I look very much forward to the coming contests
and December ATP.
Thanks to all for the QSO's and for showing up in this great and fun Events.

You may also want to look at the recent entry from Comet which has some nice
features and is priced above the MFJ and below most of the VNA's.

My goodness,
What a SAD news. This really made my stomach turn around. I'm speechless of
this tragic and sad loss of another good radio friend. Last Perseids I was
thinking I don't hear Rytis on the band, what's wrong.. While checking the
logbook I "only" found 22 QSO whith Rytis all on 144MHz but made many many
more. We sometimes tested MS propagation just for fun. With FSK441 we
sometimes even used MS instead of ON4KST because it was just as fast ..
He was a fine operator, very enthusiastic and made his QSO's on the radio.
As LY2BIL/P and LY2WR/P he gave me 5 new squares and he was of coarse my
FIRST LY station I worked. QSO's date back to 24-07-1996 LY2BIL and the
last QSO with Rytis was 11-12-2010 LY4U
We worked in MS, Tropo, Aurora and Sporadic E, unfortunately we will never
have the opportunity anymore to work on EME
Rest in peace my friend
